Full-season unified show concept introducing the orchestral repertoire to a marching-band audience. Each movement adapted from a major orchestral or symphonic work:

“Rhapsody” — Full-Season Unified Show Concept

Season-long arc tracing the rhapsody form from George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue through Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody, with each game-day production developing the concept across the season.

2014 Season — “Stages”

Unified three-frame production concept built around three integrated stages of musical material:

  • Concert stage: Sam Hazo, Ride
  • Orchestral stage: Antonín Dvořák, Symphony No. 9 “From the New World,” variations on Mvt. IV
  • Musical-theater stage: Rodgers & Hammerstein, My Favorite Things from The Sound of Music
Patriotic Show — featuring guest artist James Rogers
  • Fly Eagle Fly — arranged by Smith, performed with former Dollywood artist James Rogers

UTC Band Day — Halloween-Weekend Productions

UTC Band Day games were scheduled around Halloween each season. The marching band hosted area high school students for the day and performed featured halftime shows that included a thematic Halloween nod alongside other repertoire:
